| Zolon is utilizing state-of-the-art technology and best business practices to engineer a more efficient, user-friendly, and improved web-based reporting system for the Food Stamp Programs (FSP) and Special Nutrition Programs (SNP). The Food Programs Reporting System (FPRS) application is a combination of the Food Stamp Programs (FSP) and Special Nutrition Programs (SNP). The FPRS Project will extend the FPRS Phase III system to include all the FSP and SNP forms and their corresponding form versions. Since most of the core functionalities and features of the intended production system are included in the Phase III implementation, fundamental design features will not need any significant degree of alteration for the full FSP and SNP production system. The risks associated with expanding the Phase III system to include all SNP forms are fully mitigated. Phase IV will culminate with the replacement of FSPIIS, and SNPIIS with the FPRS application. |

| Development Support
| |
| Zolon analyzed business requirements and specifications as well as attended numerous meetings with FPRS Business Analysts (BA) and with system designers on functionality, scalability, and future objectives. Zolon then helped produce the final requirements documentation to FPRS.

| Systems Testing
| |
| Zolon evaluated different testing methods given the existing architectural design and boundaries. We tested the existing code to ensure it met both functional and non-functional requirements, then developed rigorous functional testing and inspection to ensure its quality. Zolon creates test plans and test cases based on Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and is working with the Client, testing Customer Enhancement Requirements (CER’s). Zolon tested for 508-compliance using Jaws 5.0 and uses an in-house Access tool to develop Test Cases and Scenarios for functional and system tests.

| |
| Zolon utilizes the FPRS-approved development environment and platforms in the design phase. These environments are: http, SSL, .net framework (Visual Studio .net, Visual Basic .net, ASP .net, and ADO .net), SOAP, and XML. Version control for FPRS is Visual SourceSafe. Middleware for the FPRS environment is: IIS Web Server. The computing platform is Windows. The relational databases were created using SQL Server 2000.

| Security Testing
| |
| Zolon implemented Extreme information security e-authentication processes for FPRS. The E-authentication process, tested by Zolon, has different access levels of users.

| Automation for Regression Testing
| |
| Zolon analyzed the competitive automated testing tool packages and proposed the best solution for the project’s testing environment. The choice was based on the comparison of requirements to the needs of the users, coupled with a cost benefits analysis based on what was required of the system and the complexity of the Testing. The final decision by the FPRS was to approve the choice. For regression testing, Zolon created and executed automated functional test scripts using the Quick Test Pro (8.2) based on the Functional Requirements Document (FRD) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

| Systems Documentation
| |
| Zolon proposed changes to satisfy documentation requirements, then updated existing documentation to satisfy those requirements. All documentation follows FPRS-approved standards. Our CM procedures for simultaneously maintaining these multiple baselines and ensuring traceability and consistency between software versions and requirements, design, and user documentation were found to be CMM Level 2 compliant. |
