Ram Mattapalli

CEO

As the Founder of Zolon Tech, Mr. Mattapalli oversees the management of the corporation as well as its employees, vendors and consultants. He provides complete leadership, furnishing overall company direction while managing the implementation of business strategies and all daily operations. Additionally managing the development of all products and services, applications, bid and proposal writing, and pricing, Mr. Mattapalli develops and approves all companywide plans, policies, procedures and staff allocations, administering all the logistical components of the company.

As the official principal contact with clients, contractors and sub-contractors, Mr. Mattapalli develops plans and schedules for each tasked project that minimize response time between all concerned parties. His diverse and adaptable marketing strategies are derived from networking and creating business development alliances with other reputable firms, personal contact with existing and potential clients, and steady collection and dissemination of industry and company information.

Under Mr. Mattapalli’s leadership, Zolon Tech has been SCAMPI A-appraised at the Systems Engineering Institute’s (SEI’s) Capability Maturity Model Integrated Maturity Level 3 (CMMI ML-3) — a rating that places Zolon among the top five percent (5%) of all IT services firms worldwide. Zolon Tech’s quality management system (QMS) is registered to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2011 and ISO 27001:2013 standards. Attainment of these industry standards required an executive commitment to excellence and a significant financial investment — both are characteristics that set Zolon Tech apart from its competitors.

Prior to founding Zolon Tech, Mr. Mattapalli worked in senior technical positions at EDS, Accenture and Ernst & Young. Mr. Mattapalli holds an M.S. and a B.S. in engineering, and an MBA from Duke University.

Goutham Amarneni

President

As President and Co-founder, Mr. Amarneni is responsible for development and execution of Zolon’s organizational strategy to achieve leadership in the staffing industry. Our inclusion in multiple supplier advisory panels and close collaboration across MSPs is a testament to the success of the strategy. Mr. Amarneni is constantly looking for ways to achieve operational efficiencies through workflow innovations in delivery processes by reducing lead time in closing customer requisitions. Additionally, Mr. Amarneni is responsible for mentoring delivery managers in achieving their full potential through executive coaching sessions. 

Having experimented with setting up multiple small businesses such as HUBZone (a Certified Small Business) and drawing upon this experience in efficiency to scale, Mr. Amarneni is currently engaged in Zolon Tech’s global expansion of staffing and IT service delivery operations in Canada, Singapore, the Middle East and India through a focused mergers and acquisitions strategy.

Mr. Amarneni was responsible for delivery and operations of federal contracts for the United States Department of Transportation, Department of Labor and Transportation Security Agency. Mr. Amarneni is very interested in leveraging this experience to mentor upcoming small businesses in the federal and commercial domains.

Before founding Zolon Tech in July 1998, Mr. Amarneni worked as an Oracle Specialist with multiple customer engagements for Telespectrum Worldwide Inc. and Systems Engineering Services Corp. Mr. Amarneni holds an M.S. in engineering from Texas A&M University and is an active member of the Virginia Minority Supplier Diversity Council, American Staffing Association, Staffing Industry Analysts, United States Pan Asian American Council and National Minority Supplier Diversity Council.

Zach Smith

Executive Vice President

Mr. Smith is Vice President of Zolon Tech. In his current role, he is responsible for the contract management of Zolon’s civilian and defense contracts. He is responsible for establishing high-level contract policies and processes to ensure achievement of corporate expectations. He drives implementation of strategic contract opportunities with the most significant impact to the corporation. He participates in development of business alliances, acquisitions and divestitures, source selection procedures and processes, make or buy determinations, and risk management directives.

Before joining Zolon, Mr. Smith held resource management leadership roles with IT services companies RST Inc. and Oxford Global Resources Inc. Before entering the IT services industry, Mr. Smith was a professional tennis player. He played ATP tennis circuits in Spain, India, Germany, Belgium and France. However, his first career was as an officer of the United States Army, serving tours in the U.S. and Europe.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, for which he played intercollegiate varsity tennis and squash, ultimately serving as the tennis team captain. For the past 10 years, his principal hobby has been working as a soccer referee at both the junior and adult levels.

Manish Dadhich

Vice President

Mr. Manish Dadhich is Vice President at Zolon Tech. Mr. Dadhich is an experienced technologist and has skills in program management, project management, process improvement and supply chain management. He holds several industry certifications such as PMP from Project Management Institute, Blockchain Certified Consultant, ITIL V3 and MCTS.

In his current role, Mr. Dadhich is responsible for leading, refining an executing long term business and technical strategy for Health Care vertical including differentiated solution development, resource management strategy and long-term workforce development  to compete as a medium size business in the US Federal Market and develop alliances to achieve the goal. He is also responsible for leading implementation of process improvement initiatives using CMMI, ISO, Scaled Agile and ITIL V3 standards. Mr. Dadhich is an expert in Voice of Customer implementation, Semantic Search, Sentiment Analysis Data Analytics and Visualization, Blockchain and Internet of Things and other emerging technologies.

Mr. Dadhich has been an integral part of Zolon’s success story. Mr. Dadhich Zolon’s growth story by adding several key accounts including Department of State, Social Security Administration and Health Care customers. Prior to joining Zolon’s Federal practice, Mr. Dadhich was responsible for the delivery of technical solutions to Zolon’s fortune 500 customers. As a project manager, Mr. Dadhich led the delivery of supply chain solutions to Zolon’s customers and performed numerous technology demonstrations to show proof of concept. Before joining Zolon, Mr. Dadhich was involved in delivering supply chain solutions to the customers of SSA Global (now Infor), Keane and International Rectifiers. Mr. Dadhich completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD and is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Kirk Macchiavello

Vice President

Mr. Kirk Macchiavello is Vice President, Civilian at Zolon Tech. He is responsible for the growth, delivery and client satisfaction of IT programs and services across the federal civilian market, including the Department of State. Mr. Macchiavello is a dynamic operations P&L executive with 25 years of experience building and delivering management and technology solutions and services to federal civilian agencies and commercial clients. 

Prior to joining Zolon, Mr. Macchiavello was Senior Director at Attain, where he led the federal/Department of State IT and management consulting services business, including the Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR program, for which he received the 2014 Attain Federal Program of the Year Leadership Award. Previously, Mr. Macchiavello was Vice President at Apptis/URS, where he led the national security and foreign affairs business.

Mr. Macchiavello has comprehensive experience across the full system development life cycle utilizing CMMI, systems integration and process improvement methodologies, and is a recognized leader of software development/agile Centers of Excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Macchiavello has been an active participant in several industry and community organizations including ACT-IAC and the National Kidney Foundation. He is currently a member of the ACT-IAC 2016 Partners executive leadership development program, and served on the steering committee for the National Kidney Foundation’s 2nd Annual Organ Donation Awareness charity basketball tournament at the Verizon Center.

George Kantsios

Vice President- IC/DoD

Mr. George Kantsios is Vice President, IC/DoD at Zolon Tech. He is responsible for the growth, delivery and client satisfaction of IT programs and services across the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Mr. Kantsios’ combination of business operations, capture and technology leadership has provided mission focused differentiated advantage and execution across his 25 year career. Mr. Kantsios leverages his experience to build win/win partnerships and to cooperatively drive business growth.

Prior to joining Zolon, Mr. Kantsios was Vice President of Capture Management and Proposals at NJVC where he focused on securing vehicles, strategic pursuits, capture strategy and spinning out a new ANC 8(a) business. Mr. Kantsios joined NJVC from American Systems, where he served as vice president of capture management leading strategic pursuits, increasing corporate probability of win and growing capture expertise and quality by leveraging business winning teams. Previously, Mr. Kantsios was a long-term employee of BAE Systems. Most recently, he served as Chief Engineer for BAE SYSTEMS’ $650 million IT and cyber security business. He also was senior director, advanced programs, responsible for planning and managing investments for leading-edge technologies such as mobile, cyber and cloud solutions. Earlier, Mr. Kantsios held senior engineering and leadership positions with MITRE, Hewlett-Packard, Northrop Grumman Corporation and SAIC.

Mr. Kantsios has comprehensive experience across the full DEVOPS life cycle utilizing CMMI, systems integration and process improvement methodologies, and is a recognized leader of enterprise and systems architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from Radford University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Old Dominion University.

David A. Callner

Senior Director of Technical Innovation and Services

David A. Callner is the Senior Director of Technical Innovation and Services for Zolon Tech. Mr. Callner provides capture management of Federal and DoD opportunities to drive business growth; leads the corporate Center of Excellence to enable innovative solutions and capabilities; and facilitating the implementation of solutions and practices across programs to ensure service delivery excellence.

Mr. Callner previously was the Chief Technology Officer at CALNET, Inc. He had complete P&L responsibility for all IT programs, and business development efforts for the company. As the startup Chief Technology Officer for Obsidian Global, LLC helped grow the company from just 3 employees to 50 employees in just 8 months. At Daon Trusted Identity Services (DTIS) he served as the CTO and he completely changed the organization from top to bottom by aligning the business to People, Process, and Technology to Agile DevSecOps and modernizated the Designated Aviation Channeler Program for TSA. He was responsible for the execution of all government programs with P&L at DTIS . Mr. Callner also served as Chief Architect at REI Systems and led the capture, solution development, and wrote the technical volume for a pipeline of $1 Billion of new business opportunities. At Raytheon, he led the technical direction for the Civil-Solutions sub-product line that contributed about 1.2B dollars to Raytheon’s total 24.1B revenue. In this role, he led the technical direction for over 1500 employees, led all Raytheon Civil top pursuits, and helped execute all Raytheon corporate strategic programs.

David has a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degree from the University of Texas both in Computer Science. David also served our country proudly by serving four years in the US Army, and was deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995 under the Implementation Force (IFOR) to oversee the implementation of the military aspects of the Dayton Peace Agreement to the ending of the Bosnia War.

Bill Warren

Director - Regional Accounts

Mr. Warren is the Regional Accounts Director for Zolon Tech. In his current role, he is responsible for developing new contingent staffing opportunities both regionally and nationally. He drives the development of new business relationships and is responsible for overall delivery to the customer.

Mr. Warren has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, including 25 years of building and leading successful sales teams offering information technology, solution selling and contingent staffing services. He possesses excellent skills in client interaction, personnel management, motivation, organization and communication, and a proven ability to assume expanding levels of responsibility and to identify and resolve complex issues. He has extensive experience in both the commercial and government market spaces, and is insightful and decisive. “Many are called, but few are chosen.”

Before joining Zolon, Mr. Warren spent 14 years with Adecco E&T in various sales positions, including Branch Manager and Sales Director roles. During his time at Adecco E&T, Mr. Warren was a key contributor to the year-over-year success of the region. Before entering the IT contingent staffing services industry, Mr. Warren was a key driver with several successful companies in the IT and solutions selling vertical. In addition to developing and closing new business opportunities, Mr. Warren has managed existing accounts and cultivated new business at several Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Warren is an Ohio native and a proud graduate of Youngstown State University. He is an avid sports fan and active member of several civic organizations.

Vish Hiremath

Director - MSP/VMS Services

Vish Hiremath joined Zolon in 2009 and has made significant contributions, leading to increasing responsibilities within the organization. Since joining, he has dedicated himself to supporting MSP/VMS clients such as CareFirst BCBS (Beeline), Verizon (Bartech/FieldGlass), AT&T (Volt/IQN), AmeriHealth Caritas (RightSourcing), BAE Systems (Acro/XRM), SunGard AS (Volt/IQN), Sabre Systems (TAPFIN/FieldGlass), Ameriprise Financials (IQNavigator), Liberty Mutual (Volt/IQN), Raytheon Corp. (Volt/IQN), DynCorp International (SearchPros), Catalent Pharma (Kelly OCG), Medtronic (Kelly OCG), Duke Energy (Guidant/FieldGlass), HP Govt. Services (FieldGlass), Ingersoll Rand (Allegis/FieldGlass), Lockheed Martin (DCR Workforce), Genentech (ProUnlimited/WAND), Pepsico (Volt/IQN), Novartis Pharmaceuticals (ProUnlimited/WAND), SAIC (Allegis Group Services), Siemens (Randstad/FieldGlass) and many more.

He is also involved in all areas of client servicing, recruiting, strategic planning and assisting of the proposal team on the various federal government RFPs. Vish has close to 15 years of experience in IT services sales and services delivery.

Prior to Zolon, Vish was instrumental in establishing the U.S. operations for a $100 million Indian public company (Glodyne Technoserve) and was actively involved in the business integration of two acquisitions for Glodyne. He has also worked in the e-Learning and custom content industry in areas of client services, delivery, sales and account management.

Vish earned his B.S. in computer science from the University of Pune, India, and is well-versed on emerging technology trends in the industry.

Joe Wesdock

Technical Director

Joe Wesdock joined Zolon Tech as a Technical Director in 2018. Joe was formerly with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) where he spent thirty-five years providing leadership and technical expertise to the Federal Government. Joe was NGA’s IC ITE executive and held the role of NGA’s Chief Engineer. He has extensive management experience and competency across a broad spectrum of technical disciplines including life-cycle systems engineering, program & project management, acquisition, and architecture development. Joe held positions of increasing managerial responsibility and leadership within the NGA and was a capable representative of NGA across the Intelligence Community.

Robert McKenzie

Senior Program Manager

Robert McKenzie is a Senior Program Manager for Zolon Tech. Mr. McKenzie provides Technical Capture and Business Development Management. In addition, Bob provides Operational Program Management for our Library of Congress opportunities to drive business growth; leads multi teams on LoC Tasked Orders, providing excellent innovative solutions and deliverables.

Mr. McKenzie has been with Zolon Tech for six years, he started as Program Manager for our $78 million ITSS contract at State Department/CTO for 3 years before moving to headquarters. Prior he was with Catapult Technologies as Operations Manager/Program Manager at DoS, where he managed a 120 team members, running a 24/7/365 Data Center. Mr. McKenzie prior work has been with DOD – DISA and DoA as Federal employee, Contract Office Rep. (COR).

Bob has a degree from University Phoenix in Computer Science. Bob served proudly for 22 years and retired from US Navy, he deployed to Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operations Enduring Freedom. Bob enjoys spends his spare time with his children and grandchildren, and following his sports teams. 

Steve French

Senior Program Manager

Steve French joined Zolon Tech as a Senior Program Manager in 2017. Steve was formerly with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) where he spent the last 10 years providing IT leadership and “getting stuff done”! He supported NGA's global operations from satellite communications to terrestrial circuits as well as being deployed three times. In Steve’s most recent role as Program Manager (PM) for NGA’s Transport contract he oversaw daily global operations for the entire mission. Prior to NGA, Steve was Deputy Director of Information Management for Department of Army at Ft. Belvoir where he led daily operation of Information Systems at Ft. Belvoir, Ft. Myer, Ft. McNair, Ft. Meade and Ft. Hamilton, N.Y. and was in the U.S. Army Signal Corp and Military Intelligence.
